Foxcroft Wine Co. Looking for Restaurant Server at Charlotte, NC Full Time

We are looking for an engaging and professional server to join our growing team at Foxcroft Wine Co.’s Dilworth location.

You’ll be the face of our restaurant and responsible for aiding our team in crafting fun and memorable experiences for our guests each night. This requires not only receiving orders and delivering products, but being quick on your feet (literally and metaphorically) and having an upbeat and energetic personality.

Fine Wine Sales Associate & Server:

Foxcroft Wine Company at Dilworth

Required: Master Court of Sommelier Intro, CSW, WSET level 1 or equivalent wine sales experience is highly recommended for this position. Minimum 2 years hospitality service, fine dining is recommended. A passion for a continued education in wine regions, styles, and brands is of the utmost importance.

Availability:

We are looking for full time hours Tuesday-Saturday, 5 shifts per week, averaging 35-40 hours. Shifts start around 3-4 pm and end between 9 – 11:30 pm. We are closed on Sundays and Mondays. Time off is unpaid and subject to manager approval but easy to obtain with no yearly maximum. Part time positions are available as well.

Training: minimum wage and would consist of 3-5 shifts depending upon skill level. To advance from training to the tip pool a brief menu test on wine and food must be passed. Ongoing wine training will happen on the job and participation is optional but highly recommended.

Compensation:

Our servers are paid via NC tip credit and on a house tip pool by hours worked. Servers average between $45 per hour plus the NC credit. A full-time position equates to $60,000 to $80,000 per year.

Benefits:

Servers get discounts on wine and food as well as free wine education on select Mondays. We offer a program to servers attending wine education to get sponsored for continued wine certifications. We also offer a company credit towards health insurance, and you pay the difference based on need/selection. All state and local required benefits apply.

Attire:

Personal clothing is worn as appropriate and must follow the handbook guidelines. Restaurant safe closed toed non-slip shoes are needed. Professional demeanor and work attire is expected.
