• Provides support for the Logistics Transportation Department, including, but not limited to rating all shipments and maintaining the On-Time report
• Freight rating all shipments, external, internal via SAP
• DOT medical exams and license renewals for all drivers are monitored by this position.
• DCC and Forklift verification for each driver is monitored by this position. Drivers are scheduled for classes.
• Monitors Company phones for entire Transportation department (i.e. programming troubleshooting and tracking the repair and replacement of cell phone equipment.
• Maintain inventory and distribute driver operational supplies.
• Inventory office supplies.
• ELD audits: audit driver hours, miles and ODND time claims versus actual, audit individual trips for DOT legality.
• Collect and sort all shipping information from seven separate dispatch sheets for the purpose of compiling on-time shipping and delivery reports as well as Logistics’ cost center P & Ls.
• Research individual shipments for the purpose of product tracking, freight bill adjustment, product returns, customer issues and collections.
• Maintenance of outside carrier files: proof of insurance and operating authority.
• Help maintain and improve quality and food safety, to insure compliance with company quality standards and USDA regulatory requirements.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Knowledge of DOT requirements for commercial driver files.
• Knowledge of computer office system: Excel, Microsoft Word, etc.
• Knowledge of SAP system.
• Knowledge of ELD logging program.
• Clerical office skills, typing, word-processing, 10 key, etc.
• Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks accordingly.
• Professional phone skills.
• Must be able to maintain confidentiality.
• Ability to work under pressure when necessary.
• Knowledge of cell phone communication software.
• Must be able to submit and pass criminal background check.
