The MES Architect is responsible for the design, integration and delivery of the technology architecture for digital manufacturing across all its domains. The role collaborates with Business Stakeholders, Business Analysts and Enterprise Architects to understand the implications on solution architecture and value realization. The role actively oversees the core areas of Digital Manufacturing including Manufacturing Execution, Quality Management, OEE, among others.
This role is viewed as an expert in digital manufacturing space end to end encompassing both business process understanding and technical expertise. The MES Architect leads in developing innovative technical solutions and guides on important, highly complex strategic analysis & operating problems. Has strong knowledge in business and technical functions and provides technical consulting on complex matters related to the MES and in line quality space. Acts as a source of direction, training and guidance for other team members. The MES Architect is knowledgeable in MES best practices and understand the resources and efforts needed to deliver solutions.
* Technical architect of medium and large projects.
* Accountable for leading the overall end to end support, including the detailed configuration that takes into account how to structure a solution based on requirements from the business, as well as the design of standard software configurations
* Deliver solution delivery blueprints including but not limited to application diagrams, physical architecture, process diagrams, systems maps, service interfaces, technical interfaces, data modelling, integration planning, detailed build estimates.
* Translate non-functional and functional requirements into end to end solution designs, ensuring solution aligns with business goals and processes, uses and provides enterprise information consistently, integrates effectively with other applications, supports a common application environment and user interaction model, uses the common technology platform, and achieves enterprise level security, quality of service and scale.
* Collaborate with other Solution Architects, Enterprise Architecture BI Designers to make sure that the solution fits within enterprise context
* Coordinate medium to large solution architecture implementations while leading design variances based upon business needs
* Coordinate engagements with vendors as they relate to evaluation, design and delivery of business capabilities. Contribute to the evaluation and selection of software product standards
* Practice and comply with all Company policies and procedures (EEO, Harassment, Safety, Sarbanes-Oxley, etc.)
* Perform other duties deemed by management to be an integral part of the job, including but not limited to fulfillment of work schedules, adherence to attendance policies and other applicable operating rules, policies, and procedures.
