Fleming Therapy Services, Inc., a leading provider of children’s therapy services, is currently seeking a Patient Care Associate to join us full-time in a split position between our pediatric outpatient centers in Fredericksburg and Stafford, Virginia. This is an excellent opportunity to work with a great team and help to make a positive difference in the lives of children!

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Greeting all patients, families, and visitors who enter the office. This includes assisting patients with paperwork and collecting demographic information, reviewing family guide and policies with families, reviewing patient’s insurance benefits with the family, and collecting copays and outstanding fees.
• Assisting the Patient Care Coordinator in completing the new patient intake process. This may include completing intake forms, scheduling patients using our insurance guide, verifying insurance information and setting up the evaluation.
• Assisting patients when finished therapy by reminding them of their next appointment date and referencing authorization period.
• Completing next day appointment process.
• Assisting the Patient Care Coordinator with maintaining up to date and correct insurance information on all patients.
• Assisting with the upkeep of the front desk area and waiting room, as well as helping with end of day responsibilities such as taking out the trash and closing the office.

The preferred candidate will have experience working in a front office, coordination, or related customer service role, and should enjoy working around children and individuals who have disabilities. As a Patient Care Associate, you are one of the first individuals our families and patients make contact with, so having pride in customer service and satisfaction is extremely important. Candidates should have excellent organizational and communication skills, and any past experience working in a medical office is preferred.
