* Prepare sales invoices and reconcile price and volume differences
* Reconcile volumes to Balance Reports
* Record inventory and imbalance transactions
. Confirm transportation invoices in Allegro and work with other groups to resolve differences
* Issue statements, invoices, and payments
* File monthly and annual state reports
* Apply cash receipts
* Record journal entries – record crude purchases, sales, fee revenue, transportation expenses, flash
* Reconcile inter-company accounts for proper eliminations between affiliate companies
* Reconcile general ledger accounts
* Reconcile AR balances for prior months
* Set up new Midstream property numbers
* Update desk procedures as needed
* Support audits (internal and external)
* Other activities as appropriate
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor’s degree in accounting preferred. A business degree in a related field will be considered, must have at least 18 hours of approved accounting courses. Must possess good analytical, communication (written and verbal), and organizational skills. Requires intermediate skill level in Excel. Must have a good work ethic, be accurate, dependable and detail oriented. Must also possess excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work with various personalities in other departments.
Must be able to work overtime to meet deadlines as needed. Some travel is possible.
1-3+ years’ experience in crude oil and/or midstream accounting preferred but not required. Level of position will be based on individual’s level of experience.
Position will be filled at a level commensurate with experience.
