Environmental Marketing Services, LLC provides national coverage for hazardous and non-hazardous waste disposal services to a variety of industries- including laboratories, schools and colleges, government agencies, industrial manufacturers, and many more. We operate in a highly specialized government-regulated sector, so a thorough on-the-job training process is provided.
We are currently seeking someone exceptional- the ideal person for this position will have excellent communication skills and attention to detail. We would prefer previous experience working in an office environment. The ability to multitask and have excellent time management skills is essential to this position. Candidates considering this position should be aware that an upwards of 75+ outgoing phone calls will be a daily requirement.
Objectives and Responsibilities
– Use our CRM program (Salesforce) to contact prospective customers via follow up calls and emails to build relationships and effectively market and represent our services
– Follow up with prospective and existing clients via calls and emails to maintain relationships and manage their schedule for waste removal services
– Keep records up to date in Salesforce with accuracy to manage and maintain a pipeline of interested prospects
– Use pre-made forms and systems to complete internal documents and client documents including but not limited to: quotes, service agreements, job orders, information trackers, reports, etc.
– Complete guided market research to enhance and expand our prospective clients lists
– When needed, assist our customer service manager, and transportation manager with follow up calls, and administrative tasks
Required Skills and Qualifications
– High School Diploma or Equivalent (some college preferred)
–Â Ability to accurately type 40+ words per minute (a pre-screening test will be administered prior to scheduling an interview)
– Strong communication skills via phone and email (daily client/vendor calls are a requirement for this position)
– Experience with Microsoft office, and aptitude to learn new software programs
– Strong desire and ability to move up within an organization
Preferred Qualifications
– Proficiency with Salesforce or another CRM software
– Advanced skills in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel
– Desire and ability to independently research more efficient methods of completing daily tasks
– A self-starter with the ability to learn new applications quickly
