Enercon Services, Inc. Looking for Mid Level Civil Engineer at Remote Full Time

Due to continued growth, Enercon is seeking a Mid Level Civil Engineer in our Kennesaw, GA (HQ), Tampa, FL, Birmingham, AL, FT Worth, TX, Baton Rouge, LA, Palm Beach Gardens, FL, Chattanooga, TN, Idaho Falls, ID, Overland Park, KS, or Naperville, IL, or other office locations. This position can be Full Time, PT or LTLB.

The selected candidate will become part of a team that provides project consulting and site planning, design, and engineering services to industrial and utility clients. This position requires subject matter knowledge and breadth/depth experience to move projects from concept to completion including planning/zoning, complete site design in AutoCAD/Civil 3D and permitting support. Project work and responsibilities will include all aspects of site development design such as grading, drainage, stormwater management, water and sewer, erosion and sediment control, permit support, and technical writing.

Responsibilities (including but not limited to):

Required Qualifications/ skills:

• Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering plus a minimum of 4+ years of design experience
• Ability to prepare grading and calculate cut and fill
• Ability to design stormwater management plans and size ponds and BMPs
• Ability to prepare stormwater report accounting for drainage areas, surface types, rainfall events
• Ability to prepare erosion and sediment control plan and properly size sediment traps and BMPs
• Ability to prepare NPDES permit applications
• Working knowledge of MS Office Suite
• Strong and effective oral and written communication skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively on a team
• Ability to pass a pre-employment and random drug and alcohol screenings,
• Ability to pass ENERCON and client specific background checks, and annual motor vehicle record (MVR) according to company and client policies
• Ability to travel up to 30% of the time to client sites; duration of travel length may vary depending on project and client needs, ranging from a few weeks to several months at a time

Preferred Qualifications/ skills:

• Demonstrated working knowledge of HEC-RAS or other hydrologic software
• Ability to use AutoCAD
• Experience with solar field and wind site development
• Experience with renewables
