ENERCON Looking for Engineering Manager at Kennesaw, GA  Full Time

Due to continued growth, our Nuclear Services Group Division is seeking a full time Engineering Manager for our Kennesaw, GA location.

• Responsibilities (including but are not limited to)
  The following responsibilities are representative of the duties and accountabilities of this position but are not a complete and exhaustive list. Employees may be required to perform additional duties as well as those listed below:
• Develop and maintain client relationships, develop and review proposals and customer interaction
• Provide coaching, mentoring, performance reviews and career development opportunities for our Team
• Oversee staff, quality of deliverables, schedules, and budgets
• Hire, develop and direct staff activities
• Participate in technical recruiting programs
• Assist with development and execution of business plan, market assessment and planning, contract negotiation, product and service development.
• Support marketing efforts, including identification of new business opportunities, proposal preparation, etc.

Required Qualifications / skills

• BS Degree in Engineering from an accredited university; and 10 years experience in the US Commercial Nuclear Power Industry
• 4+ years of supervision/management experience with a demonstrated ability to lead people
• Demonstrated technical expertise in one or more broad areas of engineering
• Advanced knowledge of applicable government codes and industry standards
• Demonstrated excellent organizational, time management, strategic planning, writing, communication, decision-making, and presentation skills
• P.E. License preferred

Employment requirement

• Ability to pass a pre-employment and random drug and alcohol screenings; ENERCON and client specific background checks; and an annual motor vehicle record (MVR) according to company and client policies.
