Staff Accountant

We are seeking an experienced Staff Accountant to join our team. This position will be remote based and is primarily responsible for performing accounting processes for a business unit. This role will be a key member of a team that ensures the timely and accurate reporting of the business unit’s periodic results and adherence to contractual agreements.

Staff Accountant Opportunity:

• Prepare monthly journal entries and account reconciliations
• Compile and analyze the business unit’s weekly and monthly financial results
• Ensure financial results are compiled in compliance with customer contracts

Staff Accountant Attributes:

• Basic knowledge of laws and regulations regarding and the accounting requirements for employee compensation and benefits
• Basic Microsoft Excel skills and knowledge of other MS Office products
• Experience with large volumes of transactional data
• Strong attention to detail

Staff Accountant Qualifications:

• 2+ years in a corporate accounting function

The anticipated annual base salary for this position in the US is $50,000 – $54,000. This range does not include any other compensation components or other benefits that an individual may be eligible for. The actual base salary offered depends on a variety of factors, which may include as applicable, the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job.
