Elgen Staffing Looking for Project Engineer at Allentown, NJ Full Time

Our client, a leading global provider of life science solutions, has an immediate need for an experienced Project Engineer to join their winning team in Allentown.

Our candidate of choice will perform light assembly work with plastic and sheet metal parts.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Design of parts in sheet metal, tubing, wire and injection molded plastic
• Prototyping of parts using 3D printer and alternate methods
• Evaluate test data for validity and resolution or improvement on specific projects
• Protocol development and maintenance
• BOM creation and maintenance
• Incoming inspection review of first article parts
• Project manage cross functional development teams on large scale projects
• Development of electro-mechanical device(s) such as blowers
• Managing UL and TUV file
• Generation of print package(s) for release to the manufacturing team
• Support product release in manufacturing
• Application engineering support – answering technical questions for the sales team
• Write and review sales specifications for quotations
• Customer concern resolutions
• One-sheet – creation of drawings and writing of bullet specifications for distribution to sales and customers
• Operating manual creation and review

KEY REQUIREMENTS:

• Mechanical abilities
• Operate small hand tools-screw guns, air tools, pop-riveter, belt sanders
• Will train
