Typical Day in the Life

The Application Portfolio Analyst is a member of the Application Portfolio Management team and assists Eide Bailly in administering our software application portfolio. Regularly audits the Firm’s application portfolio and evaluates license usage. Works with the Application Portfolio Manager and business lines to ensure user personas accurately reflect the correct software. Ensures the operation of Business Technology aligns with the strategic business objectives of IT Operations and the Firm.

Understanding the Firm’s application portfolio and how the Firm uses the applications.
• Identify the features, advantages, and disadvantages of the Firm’s application portfolio.
• Assessing the function and technical value of the Firm’s current application portfolio.
• Documenting all application currently or previously deployed in the Firm, as well as future applications.
• Monitor and auditing of portfolio application licensing to ensure the Firm complies to IT standard and policies.
• Work closely with ITS Operations to ensure that staff have the tools and access they need to perform their duties.
• Assist the Application Portfolio Manager with reconciling license usage.
• Work with internal staff, business analysts and application support teams to understand licensing access management.
• Enforcing company policies and procedures related to licensing management.
• Working with the ITS Operations staff to resolve application licensing issues
• Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of Firm’s application licensing.

Who You Are

• At least two years of experience in application portfolio and license administration or a related field.
• Excellent communication and project administration skills.
• Strong analytical skills, organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Knowledge of Service Now and Microsoft Active Directory.
• Proficient in using Microsoft Excel and Word.
• Ability to work individually and as part of a team.
• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent is required.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills including presentation skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Detail-oriented and able to work independently.
• Flexible and able to adapt to changing needs.
• Team player with a positive attitude.
• Strong PC skills are required.
• Strong technical background is required.
• Experience with Role Based License Allocation.
• Familiarity with Application License Management concepts and best practices.
• Familiarity with database concepts and relational databases, such as Microsoft SQL Server.

Physical Requirments

• Requires prolonged sitting, some bending, stooping and stretching.
• Requires hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity sufficient to operate a keyboard, photocopier, telephone, calculator and other office equipment.
• Hearing must be in the normal range for telephone contacts.
• Requires the ability to lift up to 20 lbs.
• Prompt and dependable attendance.

Must be authorized to work in the United States permanently without the requirement of sponsorship at any point in the future.
