Overview
The US Regulatory Control Team is responsible for all regulatory interactions and management, facilitation of all findings and self-identified issues (SII) and supporting key framework activities for Market and Valuation Risk Management (MVRM), Model Risk Management (MoRM) and Liquidity Risk Management (LRM). You will be working with a highly passionate, dynamic team spread across the globe and the team partners closely with subject matter experts within and outside of MVRM, MoRM and LRM. The main goal of the Regulatory Control function is to ensure that the group is responsive, agile, and well-prepared to support unique and demanding regulatory requests and work with the different risk functions ensuring timely closure of all findings & SIIS and the team also ensures a robust and productive interaction is maintained with the regulators (via RMG team), external examiners, and Group Audit. The Chief Risk Office function has Group-wide responsibility for the management and control of all credit, market, operational, enterprise and liquidity risks and has the responsibility of continual development of methods for risk measurement, frameworks and creating a bank wide strong risk culture. What You’ll Do
Provide regulatory advice and support to MVRM, MoRM & LRM leadership and the Global Reg & Findings Management team. Monitor developments in the regulatory space. Identify and maintain the full inventory of core regulatory standards and undertake regulatory self-assessments (including Compliance self-assessments), ensuring completeness and providing independent challenge to confirm status against each article. Ensure any identified gaps are captured as SII in GFMS
Coordination of regulatory interactions, including in-depth regulatory exams and ad hoc requests. Synthesize regulatory feedback and findings in key updates and reports provided to senior management, the CRO, and other key stakeholders. Promote a more integrated approach to regulatory relations
Assist in high priority regulatory ad hoc projects across their lifecycles by identifying and structuring problems, analyzing root causes, developing solutions, and communicating project results
Provide necessary support to the finding’s management team related for the US MoRM findings
Support key framework activities in US MVRM team
Provide necessary managerial support to the team members reporting to you
How You’ll Lead
Have regular interactions with the US MVRM, MoRM & LRM teams and some of the regional infra-structure teams, including US Regulatory Management Group (RMG) team and Internal Audit
Interactions with some of the US senior management members e.g., regional heads of MVRM, MoRM & LRM, CRO-America, etc
Global Regulatory & Findings Management team
Skills You’ll Need
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
Regional regulatory knowledge and relevant experience working with regulators or other examining bodies
Project Management knowledge and superior writing skills
Excellent problem-solving abilities, organizational and time management skills. Strong attention to detail and willingness to “roll up sleeves”
Strong stakeholder management capabilities

Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken
Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively; ability to work locally and globally
High proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

Expectations
It is the Bank’s expectation that employees hired into this role will work in the New York, NY office in accordance with the Bank’s hybrid working model.

The salary range for this position in New York City is $120,000 to $200,000.Actual salaries may be based on a number of factors including, but not limited to, a candidate’s skill set, experience, education and other qualifications. Posted salary ranges do not include incentive compensation or any other type of renumeration
