Deployed Resources LLC Looking for Accounting Associate at Remote Full Time

The Accounting Associate works closely with the Controller to facilitate financial reporting and fiscal accounting functions of the company.

Duties and Responsibilities/Essential Functions

• Perform weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual accounting activities to include reconciliation of credit accounts, coordination and completion of audits and reviewing financial reports, as necessary.
• Perform duties related to record keeping.
• Improve systems and procedures and initiate corrective actions.
• Audit accounts for errors, management analysis, fraud, and waste.
• Involvement in general ledger postings.
• Report financial information to management.
• Identify and investigate variances.
• Participate in strategic planning, fraud prevention, and budget development.

Required Education and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or Finance is required
• 3+ years of experience performing accounting functions is required and must include:
• Experience with federal government contracts or subcontracts

• Demonstrated experience with accounting software is required
• Experience using Microsoft Office, including experience with Excel, is required

Work Authorization/Security Clearance (if applicable)

• Must pass a drug test, motor vehicle record check, credit check, a background check, and provide proof of being fully vaccinated for Covid-19 upon accepting a conditional offer of employment
• Must possess a valid driver’s license, have, and maintain a clean driving record.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

Full Time – 40 hours per week. Ability to work flexible hours including nights, holidays, and weekends is required based on contract needs.
