Now is an exciting time to be part of Delta’s Reservations Technology and Innovation team as we redefine customer and employee experiences by setting new technology standards. This is an opportunity to support Deltas retail strategy and help drive that vision by bringing technology initiatives to life in our Customer Engagement Centers. We are seeking a Product Manager to lead development for a new Digital platform for our Res specialists as they serve our customers sales and service travel needs.

Lead one or more strategic initiatives including development of strategies, detailed plans and measurable outcomes, process-mapping,cross-divisional coordination,and any analysis or research needed to define the strategy and quantify results.Successful candidates will have a strong instinct for customer and employee experience, will be creative thinkers, and will possess an ability to be proactive and anticipate change.
Summary of responsibilities (not comprehensive of all tasks):
Develop products and new features from concept to launch using agile principles
Gather user insights, stakeholder feedback, commercial objective and product analytics to develop and own your product roadmap
Drives strategic projects focusing on long term business vision/needs
Develops and executes on effective goals and tactical plans supporting strategic initiatives
Drives process and experience improvement for our people and customers
Maintains & establishes effective relationships and feedback loops between our customers, specialists and cross divisional Delta teams
Works across teams and cross-divisionally on strategic projects
What you need to succeed (minimum qualifications)
Strategic thinking and creative problem-solving skills with ability to translate data into a logical and actionable story
Proficiency in written and oral communications and able to produce concise, relevant, strategic documents and executive presentations
Bachelor’s degree or related experience, MBA preferred but not required
5+ years of relevant work experience
Must be performing satisfactorily in present position

Practices safety-conscious behaviors in all operational processes and procedures
Where permitted by applicable law, must have received or be willing to receive the COVID-19 vaccine by date of hire to be considered for U.S.-based job, if not currently employed by Delta Air Lines, Inc.
What will give you a competitive edge (preferred qualifications)
Agile Product Management training and experience preferred
Ability to effectively communicate and translate messaging for both technical and non-technical audiences and stakeholders
Ability to identify specialist pain points and/or needs and develop product requirements to meet them
Willingness to become the subject matter expert for your product and take ownership for its development and performance
Ability to develop presentations that are coherent and have a consistent story
Ability to effectively collaborate with others responsible for deliverables, including stakeholders from other departments
Proficiency in MS PowerPoint and other MS applications highly preferred
