Delta has invested heavily in building industry-leading, customer-facing digital channels including Delta.com and the Fly Delta app. Delta is seeking a Manager of Digital Content Business Enablement to oversee production and publishing of non-static content (or content previously managed by IT) across our digital channels to deliver enhanced customer experiences and revenue performance. This role directly reports to the General Manager of Digital Content Operations and Business Enablement.
The Manager, Digital Content Business Enablement will be a leader with a proven record of product or project delivery and creating best-in-class digital experiences. This candidate will be an accomplished digital leader from an organization or industry known for superior digital consumer experience. The successful candidate will have proven experience building best-in-class digital capabilities with delivery models leveraging both outsourced and in-house product teams. This leader will be an effective communicator who is able to serve as a change agent in a culture which is still embracing digital practices at all levels.
This manager should be able to partner with stakeholders and IT to define authoring requirements for new business enabled content capabilities, create, and drive a content authoring enhancement roadmap, create operational excellent for content delivery, and motivate and lead a team to efficiently build and launch those solutions while managing a full backlog and maintaining multiple ongoing concurrent projects.
This position is based at our corporate headquarters in Atlanta, GA.
Responsibilities
Serves as content business enablement lead and collaborates with Manager, Content Operations and the Manager, Content Strategy to ensure the work of the Digital Content team supports and aligns with the overall Digital strategy and broader business objectives.
Implements and leads processes to consult with the product and IT teams on authoring requirements for new business enabled components, to ensure quality and accuracy of written and visual content published by the team, and to build efficient, collaborative relationships with stakeholders.
Partners with Delta’s internal technology organization and external agency partners to foster collaboration and communication while influencing authoring requirements and authoring enhancements.
Provides well-informed input into ongoing governance and content process to be reevaluated regularly and communicated across departments.
Fosters growth and development across the team and creates a diverse and inclusive team culture.
What you need to succeed (minimum qualifications)
5+ years of relevant experience, including content management
2+ years in people leadership or experience managing complex, cross-functional teams
Proven marketing and analytical experience related to digital/eCommerce
Demonstrates ability to learn new data subject areas quickly
Experience working with business customers understanding both stated and unstated requirements
Strong leadership skills, written and oral communication skills, positive attitude and able to manage change successfully in a fast-paced environment
Proven track record of successfully working in a cross-departmental team environment, delivering results on time and on budget.
Must be performing satisfactorily in current position.

What will give you a competitive edge (preferred qualifications)
Undergraduate degree in Technology, Business or related field
Experience with SEO, localization of digital content and content inheritance structure is strongly preferred
Strong, hands-on experience in Adobe Experience Manager or related Adobe products required, experience using JIRA, Airtable, or Workfront preferred. Knowledge of or experience working with unstructured data is a plus
