Job Description Summary:
Faculty in this position will teach a minimum of five (5) courses per regular semester that could include online courses and/or dual credit/early college classes. Courses may be assigned at a variety of times (day and evening) and could be split between Del Mar College campus locations in the Corpus Christi area and/or Independent School Districts in response to institutional needs. Some travel between assigned locations may be required.
Faculty at Del Mar College are required to:
Successful college teaching experience is required.
Minimum Qualifications:
Master’s degree with a minimum of 18 graduate hours in the discipline.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience teaching college level online courses.
Experience and/or documented successful training in a college online learning management system (e.g. Blackboard, Canvas).
Experience teaching and/or administering an early care and education program for children, birth to age 8.
Familiar with the types and quality of early care and educational programs in this community.
Familiar with Texas Minimum Standards for Child Care Centers.
