Job Description Summary:
The purpose of the Chair – Department of Mathematics is to provide strategic planning, collaborative leadership, and advocacy for the department.
Teaching and Administrative Chair duties are divided as:
90% administrative and 10% teaching college courses.
The EFFECTIVE DATE of EMPLOYMENT will be based on the availability of the successful applicant and departmental need. Potential start date will be Spring 2023 (January 9, 2023 at the earliest).
Minimum Qualifications:
Master’s degree in Mathematics or a Master’s degree in a math related field with a minimum of 18 graduate hours in pure Mathematics.
Three (3) years full-time college teaching experience in a discipline taught in the Department of Mathematics.
