About the Role:
In this role, you will be a part of our Cash Management team. In this back-office, fast-paced and multitasking environment, you will be performing various banking functions for our clients, customers, vendors, and internal contacts. In this role, you will be key in helping the company achieve desired financial outcomes as defined by client objectives. Our clients included some of the largest financial institutions and automotive finance companies in the United States!
Position Responsibilities:
Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to
- In-house, ACH, credit card and telephone payment processing
- Perform account maintenance
- Process Cardholder transactions including but not limited to: mail processing, posting mail payments, processing Balance Transfers and other accounting entries.
- GL balancing and reconciliation
- Performing quality checks
- Posting payments
- Handle a variety of financial transactions
- Special research projects and information collection
- Responsible for timely completion of required training applicable to the positive and effective application of such training in the performance of the position
- Perform other duties as assigned
Required Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED
- Minimum one (1) year experience in banking, accounting, and/ or financial balancing function
- Available to work M-F 11:30A-8P Eastern
- Intermediate proficiency with Windows based software programs (i.e. MS Word, Excel)
- Demonstrated ability to take independent initiative
- Solid analytical and multi-tasking skills that result in solid decision-making skills and time management
- Strong customer/client focus with the ability to resolve issues with a positive outcome
- Comfort working in a fast-paced, high-volume office setting with great attention to detail
Required Qualifications:
- Strong general ledger, reconciliation and cash experience
