In this role you will provide Journeyman Mechanical Engineering support to various acquisition and sustainment programs within the Air Force Life Cycle Management Center at Hill AFB in Ogden Utah.Â
Essential Job Functions:
The applicant shall analyze F-22 Air Vehicle Mechanical Systems Architecture (AVMSA), including systems, major components, the relationships between them, how they collaborate to meet system requirements, and principles guiding their design and evolution.
The applicant shall provide system engineering for all F-22 Weapon System mechanical functions/ systems by:Â
Required Skills:
Due to the sensitivity of customer related requirements, U.S. Citizenship is required.
An ABET-accredited Bachelor’s degree in Engineering plus 10 years of experience or a Master’s Degree plus 6 years of experience is required.
An active Secret security clearance with an in-scope investigation (within the last 6 years). Specific Special Access eligible.
At least 3 years, 5 years preferred, of recent mechanical system engineering experience with the F-22 or other fighter/bomber aircraft in the modernization and sustainment phase of their life cycle. The experience shall include general mechanical/aerospace engineering, designing, developing, and/or testing of mechanical components and systems for commercial, industrial, military, or scientific use employing knowledge of mechanical theory and materials properties.
