Our audit firm, based in Baltimore County, MD is dedicated to health care compliance of government providers, health plans and contractors. Government health care compliance services represent a large portion of our firm’s clients. We audit some of the largest & most complex health care organizations in the country utilizing a team approach drawing on various areas and levels of expertise.

As a Staff Auditor on our Assurance Team, you will be involved with performance audits, examinations and agreed-upon procedure engagements. You will also apply your experience and knowledge of audit procedures, workpaper documentation and analytical skills as part of our team.

Position Summary: Staff Auditor

The Staff Auditor at our firm is an accounting professional who works well in a team setting, has good written and verbal communication skills, and a strong attention to detail. The position is responsible for reviewing policies and procedures, internal controls, and other related documentation to determine the organization’s compliance with Medicare rules and regulations. Training will be provided along with working on various teams to gain direct experience on the process. No travel is expected in 2022. Some travel to audit sites may be required in the future. This position is remote after the initial training period.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field with 0-3 years experience and a broad knowledge of auditing.
• Proficient with Excel, Word and PowerPoint

Desirable:

• CPA or candidate to sit for CPA exam
• Prior experience on attestation engagements
• Understanding of health insurance industry

Pay: $55,000.00 – $65,000.00 per year
