With this role you will be assisting a 26 yr old male in the Madison area with intellectual disability and autism accomplish tasks such as hygiene practices, getting household chores done, arriving at work, applying for jobs, socializing and getting out of the house. This gentleman may get dysregulated at times, so finding solutions from different directions will be helpful. The client enjoys the company of others and a friendly face. In the home their will also be two cats, so please be aware of that before applying if you are allergic.
This position is for someone that has a good sense of humor, great communication skills, patience and punctuality. You will not only feel a sense of accomplishment helping someone else succeed, but you are crucial to improving their quality of life. Everyone wants a friend.
PAY: $20/HR
HOURS: Up to 18 hours a week.
SHIFTS: Mornings /Afternoons Monday, Wednesday & Friday 8am – 2:30 pm
REQUIREMENTS: Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation and car insurance
