CRBR is looking for a Human Resources Manager for the Corporate Headquarters in Chico. The Human Resources Manager is responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of all Human Resources personnel activities including, but not limited to, the successful development and implementation of policies, procedures, compensation management practices, employee relations, benefits and safety. The Human Resources Manager leads the effort to maintain productive employee relations practices and programs across all company locations.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Recruitment & Staffing
Identify staffing requirements to meet the goals and objectives of the organization.
Create and post all job advertisements and monitor incoming applicants.
Identify internal and external recruitment methods.
Establish, oversee, and manage selection procedures, including interviewing, testing, and reference and background checks.
Manage onboarding processes for all new hires.
Prepare offboarding paperwork and conduct exit interviews. Employee & Labor Relations
Develop, recommend, and implement personnel policies and procedures.
Conduct investigations into employee complaints and concerns.
Assist and train managers in conflict resolution practices.
Ensures compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws. Personnel Management
Work with management to establish and promote a high level of employee morale and motivation.
Establish and maintain training programs to foster employee development.
Develop and maintain performance management process.
Work with payroll to establish workflow and processes as needed. Compensation & Benefits
Analyze, develop, implement, and maintain compensation policies and a pay structure consistent with the organization’s strategic objectives
Identify, implement and manage company-sponsored and voluntary employee benefits programs, including, but not limited to: health, dental, vision, life, paid time off, and other benefits.
Health, Safety and Wellness
Administration of employee safety procedures.
Investigates accidents and prepares paperwork for Risk Manager partner. Personal Development
Attend seminars and trainings on relevant topics.
Stay current with HR certifications as applicable.
Attend industry conferences and educational events.
Qualifications:
5+ years of HR management experience.
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Human Resources, or equivalent work experience.
PHR or SPHR certification preferred.
Computer Literacy/Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HRIS software.
Possess strong knowledge of state and federal employment laws.
An energetic, forward-thinking, and creative individual with high ethical standards and a professional image.
An intelligent and articulate individual who can relate to people at all levels of an organization and possesses excellent communication skills.
A decisive individual who possesses a “big picture” perspective.
