This firm owner is based in the Nashville, TN area and provides virtual accounting & tax services to real estate investors and construction companies nationwide. Because this franchisee is a CPA mompreneur and aligns with the family centric values of the CPA MOMS brand, the opportunity allows you to work 100% from home on a part-time basis with flexible hours.

This position will be primarily focused on monthly accounting and accounting project work ranging including full service bookkeeping and financial statement preparation. Accounting projects may include clean-up or set-up of a client’s books. In your role, you would be expected to interact directly with clients and should be comfortable interacting with clients. The position may require you to train clients on how to use QuickBooks Online, so QBO experience is required. This position will report directly to the Controller, but also have direct interaction with the firm owner.

You must be experienced with entrepreneurial clients, be able to work independently with little guidance, have the initiative and drive to take responsibility for meeting client deadlines, and be comfortable working in a virtual environment. It is important that you be proactive and effective in your written and verbal communication skills (listening & speaking), have a caring attitude with your clients and team, and have a natural ability to focus on the details and data, ensuring accuracy and compliance of your work.

The position will start as a part-time, W2 employee with no benefits, and will preferably grow into a full-time position as the firm grows. The position will be 20-30 hours per week to start. The firm owner is looking for somebody who is willing to grow with the company and take on more responsibility as the firm grows.
