As a Spa Concierge you will facilitate the delivery of a world-class spa experience at The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas. With your warm personality and attention to detail, you will create a comfortable, welcoming atmosphere, releasing guests from commonplace concerns and inviting their indulgence in our many revitalizing services.
PRIMARY JOB DUTIES:
Duties include, but are not limited, to the following:
* Greet guests and assist with reserving spa/salon services.
* Assist guests with the purchasing of retail items.
* Understand, recommend and articulate spa/salon menu of services and amenities.
* Collect fees for spa/salon services and/or retail from guests.
* Maintain accuracy of cash bank.
* Offer food & beverage, including alcoholic options to guests.
* Book services via Spa reservations software and navigate Hotel software such as LMS.
* Maintain appearance and cleanliness of spa/salon retail space
* Maintain inventory stock levels for retail and reception supplies
* Handle all incoming calls for the spa/salon.
* Make outbound calls to guests.
* Customize guest experiences by coordinating and reserving spa/salon services that meet the guest’s needs.
* Seek and act upon opportunities to upsell services.
* Maintain spa/salon reservations email inbox; respond to emails within scope of responsibility and route correspondence to the appropriate department when applicable.
* Maintain knowledge of current service offerings, promotions, product inventory levels, in-house activities and events.
* Report any safety hazards to Supervisor.
* Ability to obtain and maintain full knowledge and understanding of company and department rules and regulations, policies and procedures.
* Other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Required:
* At least six months customer service, cash-handling experience in a similar environment.
* Familiar with processing procedures for all methods of payment.
* Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate in English.
* High school diploma or equivalent.
* Polished appearance and demeanor.
* Intermediate skills in Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook.
* Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
* At least 21 years of age.
Preferred:
* At least one year of previous spa or salon experience in a similar, luxury resort setting.
* Experience working with spa management software/programs.
