Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Sr. Manager, Project Manager – LMS, to join our team. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of implementations and a deep understanding of learning management systems. They will be responsible for leading the implementation of Workday LMS, ensuring that it meets the needs of our organization and provides a positive user experience.
Major Tasks, Responsibilities and Key Accountabilities
- Manage the LMS conversion for the Learning team; work to identify key tasks and strategy; partner with HRIS and IT to ensure a smooth transition and meet all technical requirements.
- Prepare and facilitate learning team meetings to document processes/configuring new processes; reconfigure programs with new assets and make recommendations to learning owners
- Collaborates with internal teams to ensure that Workday LMS is integrated with other systems and applications
- Define and lead change management efforts to ensure a successful cutover and adoption. Determine and implement best practices and efficiencies that serve user groups and administrators for initial and subsequent phases.
- Acts as the primary point of contact and provides support and guidance to users
- Develops and delivers training to users on Workday LMS and other related systems; leads training and implementation that improves quality and supplements existing standards
- Additional opportunities as project manager and change management for new ERP learning and leading a competency and skills project for LMS (a large project assigning competencies and skills to all courses) then PM/Succession modules are linked.

Nature and Scope
- This role requires a deep understanding of learning management systems, and the ability to implement and support them.
- The candidate will work with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to ensure successful implementation of the system.
Work Environment
- Most of the time is spent sitting in a comfortable position and there is frequent opportunity to move about. On rare occasions, there may be a need to move or lift light articles.
- Located in a comfortable indoor area. Any unpleasant conditions would be infrequent and not objectionable.
Minimum Qualifications
- Must be a minimum of 18 years of age or older
- Must pass pre-employment assessment(s) if applicable
Education and Experience
- Typically requires a BS/BA in a related field or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of 7+ years of experience in the implementation and support of Learning management systems, like Workday LMS, with a proven track record of successful implementation.
- Certifications related to Workday LMS or other learning management systems is highly desired.
- Experience in instructional design, application of adult learning, and learning evaluation and sustainability
Preferred Qualifications
- Significant experience in learning program management
- eLearning development and associated software expertise (Microsoft Office, Articulate, Adobe Acrobat, Captivate, SmartSheet)
