Concept Art House Looking for Accountant at Remote Full Time

Concept Art House is searching for a stellar Accountant who will join our small finance team. They will take on the responsibilities of preparing financial reports, performing account reconciliations, maintaining the general ledger, preparing tax returns, assisting with audit preparations, and performing other accounting duties.

What you will do

• Assist in preparation of monthly journal entries and month-end close process
• Perform month-end balance sheet reconciliations and investigate/audit items as needed
• Perform month-end bank reconciliations and credit card reconciliations and investigate/correct items as needed
• Assists and improve accounting processes, controls, and document procedures
• Assist with preparation of monthly balance sheet and income statement
• Prepare balance sheet analysis against prior quarter and prior year during quarter close
• Record fixed asset purchases, disposals, and depreciation
• Leverage financial systems to maintain and develop effective reporting tools to analyze the business
• Assists in annual audits
• Support tax and compliance filings
• Proactively drive improvement in existing financial processes
• Special projects and ad hoc requests as needed

What skills you will need

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or equivalent, CPA is a plus
• 3+ years of progressive accounting experience
• Experience with Sage Intact
• General Ledger and Journal Entry experience
• Good understanding of US GAAP
• Advance working knowledge with Google Suite and Microsoft business suite especially Excel & Powerpoint
• Ability to build relationships and work cross-functionally across multiple teams
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills to drive tasks to completion
• Detail oriented and able to handle multiple tasks and projects simultaneously
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Self-starter with the ability to work independently without supervision
• Ability to learn quickly and adapt to a changing high-growth environment
• Ability to deliver results in a fast-paced work environment
• Control/compliance first mindset
• Bilingual in English/Mandarin is required
• Passion for crypto, Defi, and/or NFTs
