Tax Analysts for various and unanticipated worksites throughout the U.S. (HQ: Paducah, KY).Prepare and review tax compliance work including tax reporting, corporate income tax, sales and use tax, property tax, net profit tax, and other necessary tax returns to comply with the federal, state, and local tax requirements; and information reporting: federal, state, and local business licensing and information reporting requirements. Reconcile various tax accounts each month. Respond to taxing jurisdictions as correspondence is made. File registrations across all companies with various authorities. Plan and consult on company-specific tax and information filing issues and projects. Monitor tax related and reporting developments. Ensure compliance across all tax and information filings. Technical environment: General ledger; regular and adjusting journal entries; accrual process; Accounts reconciliation process; financial statements; US GAAP; Excel (V/H lookup, Pivot Table, If functions, Concatenate, Conditional Formatting); Tax Research using BNA/RIA Checkpoint; business tax laws; Tax forms 1125-A, Schedule D, Form 8949, Form 4797, Form 4562, Form 8990.

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field plus 2 years of experience in the job offered or in accounting required.
