Compensation:

$25-28 per hour

Responsibilities:

• Day to day accounting for clients in various industries
• Building something out of nothing, lots of somethings
• Assist in managing the relationships with clients and applicable vendors
• Assist the team in assessing the client’s financial situation which could mean…build it, clean it up, prepare it for the next stage of growth
• Be proactive vs. reactive
• Ensure timeliness, accuracy, and usefulness of financial and management reporting.
• Help the team to direct and enhance the finance and accounting infrastructure to support the client’s organization and maintain a strong system of policies and internal controls consistent with best practices.
• And lots of other things because…the world of business moves fast!

Must-haves:

• Minimum of 3+ years of relevant finance and accounting experience
• Excellent proficiency in financial (US GAAP) accounting
• Data-driven with exceptional quantitative analysis skills, including advanced Excel skills
• Minimum Associates degree in Finance, Accounting, or related discipline
• Strong work ethic with an ability to focus on complex financial problems; strong detail orientation and commitment to accuracy
• Highest standards of accuracy and precision; highly organized and detail-oriented
• Articulate with excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to think strategically and creatively; highly-driven and self-motivated: proactive rather than reactive
• Ability to multitask, collaborate, and work well within a team environment
• Tech-savvy!
