Colorado School Of Mines Looking for Director, Hydrologic Science and Engineering (HSE) Interdisciplinary Graduate Pr at Golden, CO  Full Time

1. The Director will be the chief spokesperson in the conduct of business on
   behalf of the Hydrologic Science and Engineering Program.
2. The Director is expected to consider and promote the programs, projects, students, faculty and policies of the HSE program.
3. The Director will consult with the HSE faculty in the development of budgets and fund allocations. At least once, early in each budget year, the annual budget shall be reviewed at a faculty meeting.
4. Administrative matters will be the responsibility of HSE Leadership (Program Manager, Director & Associate Director). Matters that change or establish policy will be submitted at biannual meetings or electronically for core faculty vote or recommendation prior to implementation.
5. The Director shall appoint ad hoc committees as necessary to facilitate the functioning of the HSE Program. Committee participation is voluntary and constitutes one category fulfilling “core” status.
6. The Director shall lead and direct meetings of the HSE faculty.
