We are currently seeking a Manufacturing Trainer to join our team.
The position hours are 3rd shift: M-F 11pm-7:30am
Job Duties include but are not limited to:
Coordinate and implement training initiatives to support production department
Perform training one on one and/or in a group setting
Keep detailed records of training performed
Periodically and Objectively evaluate Production Members skills to track their improvements
Responsible for creating training schedules based on production needs
Partner with production, quality, engineering, and safety departments to improve documented processes.
Help support our Kaizen Activities, Continuous Improvement, and Safety Culture
Requirements:
AA Degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school and/or 6 months to one year of related experience. An equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.
Previous training/instructor or teaching experience required. Preferred that candidate possess these skills in a manufacturing environment
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Basic Microsoft skills (Excel, Word, Outlook) required
5 years of Manufacturing Experience preferred
Previous experience in Lean Manufacturing preferred
