Senior Associate, Paid Search Engine Marketing / SEM Operations – Performance Marketing
The Search Engine Marketing Operations Senior Associate will be responsible for managing marketing campaign execution for U.S. Card’s Paid SEM channel. Marketing campaign management will include activities such as new campaign launches, test launches, process improvements, and optimization across our active Paid Search programs. The Senior Associate will be the expert in Google/Bing/Skai and any other relevant platforms and will stay in-tune with all Paid Search updates and best practices.
Responsibilities:
Monitor Paid Search Marketing trends and generate insights to identify opportunities for campaign improvement and optimization
Daily management of search campaigns from planning & execution to analysis and reporting
Carry out campaign management tasks including: optimization, budget control and forecasting
Develop and execute campaign testing, including: ad copy, landing page, audience, and channel expansion testing
Coordinate across internal teams including Compliance, Brand Marketing, Customer Experience, Analytics, Data, Technology etc. to execute SEM strategies End to End.
“Self-starter”, strong organizational skills, ownership mentality, ability to prioritize workloads, and fast learner of new digital marketing and SEM specific technology tools
Solid understanding of performance marketing, conversions, and online customer acquisition
Ability to work with high-performing team mates, as well as partners across the enterprise
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelors’ degree or Military experience
At least 2 years of experience in Paid Search Engine Marketing marketing
At least 1 year of experience planning and implementing SEM strategiesutilizing Google and Microsoft Ad platforms
At least 1 year of experience analyzing and evaluating campaign performance
At least 1 year of experience in project management
Preferred Qualifications:
At least 3 years of experience in Search Engine Marketing marketing with responsibilities overseeing high volume and multi-million dollar media budgets
At least 2 years of experience in project management
At least 1 year of experience in product development
At least 1 year of experience using Skai

The minimum and maximum full-time annual salaries for this role are listed below, by location. Please note that this salary information is solely for candidates hired to perform work within one of these locations, and refers to the amount Capital One is willing to pay at the time of this posting. Salaries for part-time roles will be prorated based upon the agreed upon number of hours to be regularly worked.
Location is New York City
– $96,254 and $113,558 for Sr. Associate, Marketing
Candidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that location, and the actual annualized salary amount offered to any candidate at the time of hire will be reflected solely in the candidate’s offer letter.
