The Hansen Elementary school is looking for a dynamic educator who values equity, social-emotional learning and provides access to learning experiencesfor all students. Qualified candidates will have demonstratedsuccess in building and sustaining strong relationships with students and families and value ongoing collaboration with colleagues.

Qualified candidates will:

• Demonstrate an unwavering commitment to educational equity and instructional excellence
• Provide a safe, inclusive, and welcoming learning environment for all learners and families
• Create lesson plans, aligned with current state and district standards, which drive instruction through formative assessment and differentiation
• Provide consistent, immediate feedback on student learning and ask analytical questions that elicit students’ responses that incorporate prior knowledge, life experience and interests that are directly related to the content objective
• Collaborate with colleagues and administration in analyzing data in order to positively impact student learning
• Engage in reflective practice in concert with your supervisor and content specialists aligned to the instructional focus of the school
• Communicate effectively with students, families, colleagues and administrators
• Possess a growth mindset
• Possess effective communication skills

Additional Requirements:

• MA Certification required
• Prior experience preferred
• Masters degree preferred
• Familiarity with the Massachusetts Curriculum Frameworks
