Responsibilities
• Unloading various types of transport vessels
• Operating facility PLC and controlling pumps
• Monitoring and adjusting plant equipment
• Collecting representative samples for lab testing
• Completing paperwork with accurate information
• Entering data in computer databases
• Assisting in plant housekeeping and maintenance
• Conducting preventative maintenance inspections
• Managing chemical inventory
• Ensuring accuracy of internal and external paperwork
• Performing and supporting equipment maintenance
• Following safety policies and procedures
• Applying mathematical concepts for volume calculations
• Lifting and moving up to 50 pounds
• Other assigned duties and requests
Requirements
• Ability to learn and operate equipment
• Making critical decisions following company policies
• Performing accurate mathematical calculations
• Some computer skills (PLC, Microsoft Office)
• Wastewater experience is a plus
• Sampling and reading chemical analysis
• Problem-solving and independent thinking abilities
• Mechanical abilities
