Boutique Recruiting has partnered with a nonprofit foundation that works with youth communities in the city of Los Angeles. They are seeking a Staff Accountant to bring onboard and join their team! Responsibilities include performing journal entries, cash management, AP, and invoice preparation.
Our ideal candidate is an innate problem solver and someone who is motivated to get the job done. Our client offers wonderful benefits including Summer Fridays off in August!
Responsibilities:
- Be responsible for accounts payable, cash management and accounts receivable processing
- Process Annual IRS Form
- Administer payroll processing and prepare payroll journal entries and account reconciliations
- Oversee maintenance and development of systems, acting as the point of contact for financial systems testing and upgrades
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or Business
- 2+ years’ experience in accounting, preferably in a non-profit
- Experience with Financial Edge, Raiser’s Edge or similar accounting system
- General bookkeeping and accounting principles including AR/AP
