Responsibilities: Develop and create multi-media content, including but not limited to blog posts and website copy, photography, and basic video production and editing Manage day-to-day social media activities including: Develop relevant content topics to reach the organization’s target audience Create, curate, and manage all social media content (images, video and copy) Monitor, listen and respond to followers in a tone/manner consistent with brand guidelines Develop and expand community and/or influencer outreach efforts Design, create and manage social media ad campaigns Manage efforts in building online reviews and reputation Monitor online reviews and respond to each review where appropriate Analyze key metrics and tweak strategy as needed Become an advocate for the company in social media spaces, engaging in dialogues and answering questions where appropriate Map out a comprehensive social media strategy that is proven by testing and metrics Monitor trends in social media tools, applications, channels, design, and strategy Identify threats and opportunities in user-generated content surrounding the company and report notable threats to management Analyze online interactions and translate anecdotal and/or qualitative data into recommendations for revising social media, content marketing, SEO and social advertising campaigns Monitor effective benchmarks (Best Practices) for measuring the impact of social media campaigns Analyze, review, and report on the effectiveness of campaigns to maximize results
Education & Experience: A degree in marketing, communications or design is preferred but not required with relevant work experience and a killer portfolio At least 3 years of hands-on, day-to-day social media management experience for brands Experience creating and managing Facebook and Instagram ad campaigns In-depth understanding of various social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, YouTube, LinkedIn, etc.), their respective participants, and how each platform can be deployed in different scenarios Proven ability to bring ideas and narratives to life visually using social media, i.e., basic graphic design, photography, and video skills (please provide links to your portfolio)
Skills: Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite, including but not limited to Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Premiere Pro and After Effects Strong writing and language skills Experience working in the Shooting, Hunting, Outdoor or Tactical industries is strongly preferred but not required
