Summary:
Our Recruiter will play a significant role in establishing and maintaining relationships with our candidates while responding to the needs of our clients. The candidate must be comfortable cold calling, building relationships over the phone, possess an ability to use technology, is ready to learn, is disciplined, detail orientated, hardworking, and possesses excellent communication skills. Effective recruiters will have the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently and work productively with a positive demeanor in a fast-paced environment.
Essential Functions:
• Manage full-cycle recruitment process for all levels of Finance and Accounting
• Partner with hiring managers to understand their business needs and create unique strategies to identify, attract, and engage with the best talent
• Build rapport with consultants in the field and provide transparent communication to ensure job satisfaction and retention
• Participate in professional industry associations to increase our presence within local finance and accounting market.
• Identify and source technical candidates using a variety of strategies including local colleges and universities, referrals, career fairs, job boards, internal database, etc.
• Complete thorough screening process, including detailed phone screen, in-person interview, reference checks, and issue technical evaluation
• Coordinate meetings and interviews with candidates and clients
• Provide status updates to internal team on position and candidate progress
• Generate sales leads for sales staff
• Maintain excellent service level communication with candidates to gain candidate loyalty
• Meet or exceed weekly and monthly activity expectations
• Understand client organizations including structure, business areas, and technologies used
• Facilitate the processing of all necessary paperwork such as employment paperwork and contracts
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance desired
• Minimum of 2+ years professional accounting experience and/or recruiting for a professional services firm specifically for accounting talent
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong organizational skills
• Well-developed phone skills
• Positive attitude and high-energy level
• Results driven; motivated to meet long short-term goals
