POSITION SUMMARY:

To properly clean, store and maintain all washable items within a sanitary and safe working environment.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Properly and safely operate dishwashing equipment to ensure adequate supplies of clean and sanitary tableware at all times.
• Maintain personal hygiene and sanitation standards as established by Health Department.
• Follow proper food storage, handling and preparation standards.
• Adhere to established Ecosure standards.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment through regular floor maintenance, trash removal, proper storage of equipment and cleaning of Dish area prior to the end of each shift.
• Safely handle and use chemicals needed to clean and sanitize tableware.
• Complete all training requirements.
• Perform other duties as requested.

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS:

• N/A

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Regular walking, standing, lifting up to 50lbs, bending, stooping, climbing, etc.

INDEPENDENT JUDGEMENT:

Performs tasks and duties under direct supervision, using well-defined policies and procedures. Work is reviewed by supervisor. Limited opportunity exists for exercising independent judgment and decision making.
