Job Summary

Base Brands is currently looking for a Logistics Coordinator to join our team. This role is responsible for ensuring superior on-time shipments and deliveries to all Base Brands Customers. The coordinator will also manage other logistics activities, including responsibility for day-to-day 3PL warehouse communication and domestic carrier coordination. The Logistics Coordinator will with closely with the Base Brands Operations team, Finance, Sales team, and 3PL warehouse team.

Responsibilities

· Manage orders that have been sent to the warehouse (from routing through delivery to customers)

· Ensure new and existing customer orders meet all shipment requirements by maintaining and updating customer routing guides

· Works to attain and improve order-to-delivery (OTD) cycle time with the warehouse

· Approve and monitor domestic freight invoices

· Track and charge 3PL for any compliance claims and ensure corrective action is implemented

· Research and dispute shortage claims and retailer compliance chargebacks

· Manage coordination between carrier, drayage provider, and 3PL warehouse

· Develop and maintain close relationships with inbound and outbound transportation providers including monitor shipment details, report KPIs, and resolve service issues

· Coordinate with Customer Service for any changes related to orders to ensure customer satisfaction

· Ensure warehouse sends compliant 945 documents and coordinate any 945 corrections needed

· Other duties as assigned

Requirements

· Minimum 3 years of experience in warehousing and logistics

· Previous CPG experience

· Must be detail oriented, and highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple tasks throughout the date

· Excellent communication is a must (written and verbal)

· Customer Service Oriented

· Understands and implements lean practices

· Demonstrates advanced proficiency and knowledge of applicable Microsoft Office software (excel pivot tables, vlookup, etc.)

· Experience with ERP systems, Netsuite preferred, but not required

· Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work

· Experience in Google Suite of products

· High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $48,000.00 per year
