BARTOLOTTA MANAGEMENT GROUP, INC Looking for IT Director at Milwaukee, WI Full Time

The Bartolotta Restaurants team is comprised of more than 500 team members and internal partners, across 17 locations, who count on us to help connect them to a larger purpose, to find ways to serve our guests with an ultimate fine dining experience while upholding exceptional hospitality standards.

Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, the IT Director will provide and manage the overall IT environment of Bartolotta Restaurants (which includes 17 locations across Milwaukee), inclusive of a network and server environment, POS systems, desktop and mobile device management.

The ideal individual will have the ability to lead managed service providers, a small IT team consisting of consultants and desktop support staff, and an overall budget. The individual needs to – first and foremost – be committed to serving the needs chefs, kitchens, GMs and front line staff within restaurant an catering businesses, as a working director. The individual also needs to exercise good judgement in a variety of situations, with strong written and verbal communication, time management, problem solving/resolution strategies, organizational skills, and the ability to maintain a realistic balance among multiple priorities while providing front line computing support.

Duties/Responsibilities

• Ensure managed services and partners are providing a responsive and high degree of support to all business entities and leaders.
• Establish IT operating procedures to make management, reporting and maintenance easy.
• Manage a small team of IT staff to provide white glove onsite support, including developing and motivating the team.
• Track and manage IT inventory including hardware and licenses.
• When needed and as a back up to IT staff, provide remote and desktop, in-person, support for Point of Sale (POS) systems and services, user accounts and Identity Management, Windows and Mac Operating systems, printers, mobile phones and tablets.
• Vet, prioritize, escalate and close help desk tickets
• Manage assets including set up, imaging, virus and malware remediation and documentation
• Welcome and onboard new employees with accounts and computing devices
• Ensure IDMs and MDFs are maintained to standard, continually improve

• Other work and projects as assigned

Technical Experience:

• At least 3 years working in IT Management; 5+ years in IT Operations
• Required experience with:
  • Advanced working experience with Windows and Apple Operating Systems, required.
  • Hardware break/fix, mobile device support for tablets, smart phones, general troubleshooting of voice and data networks, required.
  • Help desk ticketing and documentation.
  • Troubleshooting multifunction and standalone print devices.
  • Implementing IT Process
  • Completing IT Projects to business requirements standard

Preferred experience with:

• Point of sale, PCI compliance, working inside an IDM, MDF
• A passion for serving others, quickly.
• A desire to provide white glove, VIP service support.
• Excellent written and oral communications.
• Excellent organizational skills and an ability to prioritize tasks.
• Transportation for onsite work at multiple locations.
• Able to adjust quickly to a fast pace environment.
• Ability to lift and move objects weighing 50 pounds or less.
• Able to sit or stand for long periods throughout the day.
• Use hands to handle, control, and manage tools of work.

Relationship Skills:

Education:

• Bachelors Degree in Information Technology or related field
  • Or at least 8 years of working experience with progression

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift and move objects weighing 50 pounds or less.
• Able to sit or stand for long periods throughout the day.
• Use hands to handle, control, and manage tools of work.
