Who are we?
Back to Basics Learning Dynamics (B2B) is a premier education services provider of over 125 services offered including 1-on-1 tutoring, translating and interpreting, speech and occupational therapists, reading specialists, psycho-educational testing, 1-on-1 test prep for the SAT & ACT and more. In addition, we operate Delaware’s only 1-on-1 Private School (7th-12th grade), Augustine Hills School, located in Wilmington, Delaware.
What we are looking for:
Passionate teachers available to tutor this school year, or tutors who have relevant experience and want to make a difference.
Scope of work

Tutor students online and in-person, after school hours

1:1 tutoring with the same child each week for 2 hours (1 hour twice a week).

You set your own schedule for after school and weekend hours. Consistency is key, so we ask that the schedule stay the same each week if possible.

Work with students in mostly grades K – 8 for Math & Reading but some high school students will be participating in the program. For high school students, their instruction may be subject-specific (e.g. Algebra I).

What do we require?

Bachelor’s degree or higher

Teaching Certificate or 2+ year of teaching in a classroom or Tutoring 1:1 (student teaching and practicum excluded from timing noted)

Minimum of 6 hours a week, up to 25 hours available
