Avant Search Looking for Sales Specialist (Restaurant) at Cleveland, OH Full Time

Responsibilities:

• Learn and possess current working knowledge of all vendor lines for disposables and chemicals
• Work with Purchasing Specialist to quality new sources and implement vendor programs as part of the onboarding process
• Source new product streams within D&C lines while trying to utilize Preferred Vendor recommendations
• Work closely with Regional Sales Managers, VP of Sales & VP of Purchasing as required
• Coach pricing with sales personnel to maximize disposables sales utilizing Auto Quotes and internal systems
• Interact with customers and assist sales personnel in selling D&C line items in assigned regions, i.e. Cincinnati, Pittsburgh, and/or Cleveland.- Foster positive relations and be strategic and innovative partner to customers, vendors, co-workers, sales personnel, and management
• Coordinate with suppliers and departments on new item introductions on initial quantities, timing, and delivery methods
• Identify and lead strategy to penetrate key accounts in the disposable category Conduct key sales calls with the sales reps assisting in penetrating new accounts
• Work closely with VP of Sales and Marketing to promote disposable growth.
• Qualify and handle all sales sample requests for all assigned regions
• Qualify, coach, and train all special logoed products for sales reps

Experience:

• Previous food service/hospitality/restaurant industry experience
• 2+ years of sales support environment

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $75,000.00 – $95,000.00 per year
