Aura Looking for Senior Inventory Accountant at New York, NY Full Time

How You Will Add Value: With significant experience in inventory and cost accounting, you bring expertise on how a US company partners with manufacturing operations in China. Your mandarin language skills, along with Netsuite and consumer goods/e-commerce will ensure we strategically grow.

What Excites You About An Opportunity:

• Work closely with Aura’s manufacturing team in both the US and China to track inventory and product cost.
• Evolve and manage Aura’s inventory management reporting including inventory aging, stock reports, component purchase tracking and costing, and other data.
• Reconcile inventory accounts, POs, receipts, fulfillment, transfers on a regular basis.
• Prepare journal entries as needed.
• Track production purchases and product cost, make corresponding entries, and produce related analysis.
• Assist and support operations by entering inventory management and supply chain transactions and adjustments in NetSuite (POs, Bill of Materials/product costing, goods receipts, fulfillment, transfers, etc.).
• Help with the implementation of processes and controls to improve and scale the accounting function and safeguard assets.
• Provide accounting assistance and support on the implementation of accounting policies.
• Create and record inter-company invoices and reconcile inter-company transactions.
• Assist with audit, bank, and other third party requests.
• Work on various other projects.

We’re Excited About You Because:

• Years of accounting experience in e-commerce or consumer goods
• Experience working on inventory accounting for a Chinese manufacturing operation.
• Proficient, business-level Mandarin language skills.
• NetSuite experience strongly preferred, including knowledge of NetSuite’s inventory module.
• Preference for dynamic, high-growth environments.
• A positive, solutions-oriented attitude.
• This is a remote-friendly role. You can be anywhere in the US.
• We have offices in New York and San Francisco, which you can work out of if convenient.
