ASTHO Looking for Recruiting Manager at Remote Full Time

Summary: Handles the dynamic talent needs of our public health organization by identifying, assessing and connecting the ideal candidates to the perfect role for a wide range of positions, spanning a variety of public health subject matters.

Location: Remote

Principal Functions:

• Lead full-cycle recruitment to include job postings and ads, reviewing resumes, screening and interviewing candidates; checking references; and extending job offers.
• Build and maintain relationships with ASTHO staff and hiring managers to understand our culture, portfolios, and expectations in efforts to identify and hire talent that will thrive in our environment
• Design innovative recruiting strategies and procedures to provide a high level of thought-partnership with hiring teams.
• Conducts studies, performs research and tracks trends for projects and potential recruiting activities to drive results.
• Manages the tracking software for applicants and onboarding.
• Champion inclusion and diversity throughout the recruitment process.
• Assist with the onboarding process
• Assists with reviewing and interpreting policies and recommends processes or program improvements.
• Participates in staff committees.
• Ensures compliance with rules and regulations.
• Participates in developing department goals, objectives and systems.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in human resources or related field
• HR certification preferred
• Public health recruiting experience preferred
• 5 years full-cycle recruiting experience and some generalist responsibilities
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills required
• Exceptional organizational skills
• Able to interact with others positively and professionally
• Excellent phone etiquette
• Strong computer skills
