ATC has immediate openings for hands-on Senior Test Engineers in our Chelmsford facility. Successful candidates will lead test engineers and technicians and work closely with hardware, software, firmware, and systems engineers to accomplish the testing of various space and aerospace products, the integration of test systems and verification of test setups.
Responsibilities:
Accomplish and lead the test engineering efforts of others in testing modules, payloads and systems.
Lead the Integration of test systems and the setup of test capabilities
Participate in troubleshooting and anomaly resolution efforts
Document test results and review the test reports generated by the test engineers and technicians
Write test environmental plans/procedures
Support environmental testing (thermal, vibration, EMI/C, thermal vacuum)
Identify and participate in implementing testing enhancements
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering Technology, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering/Science or equivalent combination of education and experience
5 years of relevant experience
Proficient in RF, digital, analog and/or power testing and the associated test equipment
Strong analytical and communication skills
Ability to troubleshoot to the circuit/component level
Strong technical writing and technical management skills
Must be US Citizens eligible for a security clearance
Experience Areas That Are A Plus:
Master’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering/Science or any other relevant technical field
Test personnel technical management
Hands-on debug experience in a lab environment using tools such as oscilloscopes, spectrum and network analyzers
Military EMI/C design, theory, and test methodology expertise
