Job Description – Logistics Coordinator

Location – Jackson, TN

American Bath Group is looking for a talented and qualified Logistics Coordinator to join our team. In this position, you will be responsible for all supply chain management duties including dispatch of company drivers, assigning loads to contract carriers, and working with brokers to secure truckload service to American Bath Group customers. Responsibilities also include working with load planning & shipping teams, researching shipping methods, assessing budgets, and analyzing freight data.

The successful candidate must demonstrate strong attention to detail to oversee daily logistics dispatch. In addition to having excellent organizational skills, you should also possess in-depth knowledge of logistics and dispatch.

Responsibilities:

• Plan and monitor inbound and outgoing deliveries.
• Respond to any issues or complaints.
• Research ideal shipping techniques, routing, and carriers.
• Work with other departments to incorporate logistics with company procedures and operations.
• Evaluate budgets and expenditures.
• Update and evaluate metrics to assess performance and implement enhancements.
• Ensure all operations adhere to laws, guidelines, and DOT requirements.

Requirements:

• 2 years’ experience in a similar role preferred.
• Knowledge of the transportation/logistics industry.
• Solid understanding of logistics and transportation management software (TMS).
• Outstanding analytical, problem solving and organizational abilities.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
• Exceptional leadership abilities/attributes.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 – $22.00 per hour
