Curriculum Manager (Remote)

Amentum is seeking a Curriculum Manager (CM) to support operational and business development efforts in the counterproliferation / counter-WMD market space. From a programmatic side, the CM works closely with the U.S. government to validate, tailor and implement a law enforcement and border security training and exercise program with partner nations to disrupt WMD proliferation networks and pathways. Program’s primary interlocuter is the law enforcement sector in support of Defense Threat Reduction Agency (DTRA) objectives. The CM is responsible for curriculum and course material development, QA, material printing, translation, etc. under his/her purview, and accomplishes this through a combination of indirect supervision, management of matrixed functional resources, and management of subcontractors.

From a growth perspective, the CM works with the Program Manager to identify value-add opportunities to grow his/her existing contract(s) and to capture new opportunities in the Counter-WMD space.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in related field and experience managing a small team
• Five years of experience in technical writing, curriculum management, course development, QA, translation, and printing/production
• Active Secret security clearance or higher
• Exceptional time management, facilitation, and organizational skills
• Demonstrated ability to coordinate and align cross-project activities
• Demonstrated ability to be successful in a dynamic environment through situational analysis and informed decision making
• Demonstrated ability and experience designing and coordinating material development, managing editorial review processes, and organizing finalized materials for an international audience
• Exceptional ability to prioritize one’s workload and curriculum team’s workload
• Professional experience using SharePoint, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Adobe
• Strong technical writing, requirements analysis, and team management skills
• Demonstrated ability to manage a small team of people and provide/oversee all of team’s tasking
• Demonstrated ability to meet tight deadlines and work in a quickly evolving environment
• Exceptional skills in creating and adhering to very specific timelines for the production cycle of all course materials
• Able to train new employees in curriculum development work
• Able to write/maintain instructional materials for curriculum team
• Previous experience coordinating and executing Curriculum Development Workshops with international partners.

Other requirements:

• Experience working in international countering weapons of mass destruction training courses and exercise planning
• Experience in developing and executing tabletop exercises to assist in the development of the international partner’s counter-WMD programs law enforcement efforts.
• Ability to obtain a passport to support international travel as program requires
• Professional understanding of the International Counterproliferation Program (ICP)
• Professional understanding of Proliferation Security Initiative (PSI)
