About the job:
Manage and provide guidance and direction to the endpoint engineering team
Build a high performing team with performance management and career development
Ensure team adherence to ITIL Change Management processes
Report and analysis of software license usage, security score, software and hardware compliance, operating systems, and software distribution
Assist with technical roadmap development, initiative, and project planning
Collaborate with the Asset Management team to implement processes and direct integration of platforms to support software and hardware asset information for the endpoint environment
Collaborate with the global IT Operations and procurement team to plan and perform equipment lifecycle refresh including laptops, desktops, and mobile devices
Maintain endpoint environment – evaluating endpoint hardware, operating systems, communication and collaboration applications, service packs and patches, security configurations, standard image, and device deployment
Project Management of endpoint related projects and activities
Other duties as assigned
About you:
Work experience – General IT Experience – 7+ years / Team Management– 2+ years / Project Management – 2+ years
Experience building, developing, and mentoring teams
Excellent people skills
Experience with various endpoint technologies including Windows, Mac OS, iOS, AD, AAD, SCCM/JAMF/Ivanti/Intune
Ability to create, implement and enforce processes and policies
Experience with Linux distributions
Experience managing PC operating system upgrades and image development and deployments
Experience managing endpoint security systems and tools
Experience with developing project schedules for deployment and upgrade projects
Proficient in English
Excellent time management abilities
Excellent troubleshooting skills
High level of verbal and written communication skills
Highly organized with strong attention to detail
