Because the HR function is constantly evolving, we are looking for a dynamic Employee Communications INTERN in our Atlanta office to support key business initiatives. The intern will report directly to the VP of Talent and Development and should be eager to learn and make an impact. The experience is designed to provide opportunities to work directly with the HR team on the following potential projects:
* Enhance internal communication plans and strategies
* Assess current state and impact of internal communications plan; make recommendation for enhancements and 1-3 initiatives that would improve impact
* Assist with monthly news letter

As an intern, you will have exposure to real projects and will play a crucial role in the decision-making process.

Job Description

You will gain an understanding of the Altium Packaging business and a wealth of functional experience to develop leadership skills, cross-functional collaboration and presentation & public speaking skills. Our interns participate in projects that add tremendous value to the company. The skills you develop from this internship will serve you well in the rest of your education, as well as in your professional life.
Qualifications
* Candidates must be a Jr. or Sr. pursuing a degree in Communications, Marketing, Journalism, Human Resources or related field
* GPA minimum of 3.0 is required
* Knowledge and demonstrated use of communication tools and basic presentation skills
* Knowledge of variety of communication formats and modes of delivery
* Strong candidates will also demonstrate attention to detail and prioritization skills
* Must be available to work full-time for a minimum of 10 weeks, though 12 weeks is preferred (May-August)
