SUMMARY:
We are seeking a Reporting Analyst, focusing on Operational Health, to design and build an analytic solution that will inform business decisions, monitor internal operations, and improve the overall operational health the organization.
The Reporting Analyst collaborate with department owners to develop operational KPIs and dashboards to show quick insights into the operational health of the organization. The Reporting Analyst will gather requirements and develop reporting to support business decisions to ensure the operational success of AllyAlign Health.
Responsibilities:
- Establish relevant KPIs to measure operational health and drive operational success
- Provide actionable insights to assistance operational departments to achieve goals
- Identify operational areas in need of improvement through analysis and work with operational departments to develop monitoring mechanisms
- Assist with root cause analysis to maintain high integrity data and processes to minimize discrepancies and gaps
- Interpret data, analyze results using statistical techniques and provide ongoing reports
- Work with business users to develop requirement documents for reporting/analytical needs
- Create/develop reports using Microsoft reporting tools such as SSRS, PowerBI, and Microsoft SQL
- Maintain SQL queries and data dictionaries in a version-controlled environment
- Locate and define new process improvement opportunities
- Work closely with management to prioritize business and information needs
- Perform other related duties as assigned
Knowledge & Skills Required:
- Two (2) to four (4) years of experience performing the same or similar responsibilities
- Familiar with operational areas that support Medicare Advantage Plans (Part C & D)
- Strong knowledge of and experience with SQL databases and query writing
- Proficient at SQL Server Reporting Studio (SSRS) and PowerBI
- Knowledge of relational databases, database design, and data mining techniques
- Strong understanding of Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Access tools
- Ability to work with multiple data sets on cross-systems
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy
- Adept at queries, report writing and presenting findings
- BS in Computer Science, Information Management, or Information Technology
- In-depth knowledge of healthcare claims, both pharmacy and medical
- Possess ability to work independently, not requiring significant direction
