Engineer – Controls Engineer
JOB SUMMARY:
Allied Controls, L.L.C., is a systems integrator located in Union, Missouri. We are looking for a Controls Engineer to join our team. The Controls Engineer is responsible for the development and implementation of the electrical design, controls design, and programming requirements for projects. The Electrical Engineer coordinates with customers and machine builders to ensure an integrated design meets the project requirements. Allied Controls programs machines and processes for multiple industries which provides for a challenging work environment. Majority of our customers are within 1.5 hours of our office so minimal travel is required. Typically work weeks are 40 to 45 hours.

WORKING CONDITIONS:
Work is primarily conducted in a non-smoking office environment but also requires occasional travel to off-site work locations.
Field duties may require indoor and outdoor work in a plant environment.
Interaction with other team members, as well as supervisors and client personnel.
Working in plant and/or shop areas around production machinery may include areas with extreme noise levels.
Must be able to wear safety equipment as required by the safety department for personal protection.
May be at more than one job site in a day and must be able to tolerate climate changes.
May be required to travel out of town on a periodic basis. Typical out of town travel for Allied Engineers is less than 5% per year but could approach 10% on some years.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Must be able to lift and carry 30 pounds.
Sufficient clarity of speech and hearing or other communication capabilities, with or without reasonable accommodation, which permits employee to communicate effectively.
Ability to sit for prolonged periods of time with or without reasonable accommodation.
